WINSTED — The Hinsdale School renovation project continues to move forward.
The last steel beam involved in the project was installed on Wednesday, Aug. 18.
To celebrate, the school district held a signing ceremony where teachers from Batcheller Elementary School, along with school administrators, signed the last beam.
“We are so excited that this project continues to move forward,” Superintendent Melony Brady-Shanley said. “It’s going to get to the point where it’s going to look nice and an actual school. We are moving much faster than I anticipated and the steel part of the building going up will help this process.”
The project to reopen the school by July 2022 started in late April.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held in late May.
