PRESS RELEASE — The Northwest Connecticut Arts Council and Sunset Meadow Vineyard are partnering to host the first in-person Arts Night Out networking event in over a year. The event will be held at Sunset Meadow Vineyards, 599 Old Middle St. in Goshen, CT, on Thursday, September 30, 6 pm. Producing many sustainably grown and estate-made wines, Sunset Meadow Vineyards is one of the most recognized and awarded vineyards in the Northeast.

Guests will be required to follow all COVID-19 guidelines set by the CDC and the State of Connecticut. Masks are recommended while on Sunset Meadow Vineyard’s property aside from while eating and drinking. However, fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask.

Arts Night Out is a free networking opportunity for the creative community in the Litchfield Hills. Artists, business owners, creative economy workers, and curious neighbors are invited to network and enjoy themselves. Participants are encouraged to bring business cards to share.

The Arts Council intends to provide a free, fun night out for the arts community, while bringing business to local social spots. Previous Arts Night Out events have been held at local breweries, wineries, galleries, and creative organizations. This is a chance for those who attend to get to know the Arts Council and its supportive community partners.

“We are thrilled to be able to host an Arts Night Out event after COVID has caused many artists to become isolated and separated from each other,” Maddie Stenson, Program Director of the NWCT Arts Council says. “We haven’t hosted this event in Goshen yet, and Sunset Meadow is a great venue to explore and very supportive of local art. We can’t wait to reconnect and network with you!”
