WINSTED —  Friday, Oct. 29 – 6:30 p.m. Winsted Lions Club Halloween Dance fundraiser at Crystal Peak, 164 Torrington Road, Winsted, Ct. with live music by the 3-G band. Tickets include dinner and Halloween dance. Tickets $30. For more information go to

COLLINSVILLE —  Annual Halloween parade starting at 6 p.m presented by Collinsville Artists through the nonprofit organization Collinsville Arts Initiative, Inc. For more information go to

WINSTED —  Saturday, Oct. 30 (rain date Sunday, Oct. 31) 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Trunk or Treat at Rowley Field —  sponsored by Winsted Recreation. A safe, fun Halloween event. trick or treating by going car trunk to car trunk to get your bags filled with treats. Each trunk will be decorated by participating individuals or groups in the Halloween spirit. For more information go to

BARKHAMSTED —  Sunday, Oct. 31 – 2 to 5 p.m. The Barkhamsted East Volunteer Fire Department will have its fourth annual Halloween Trick or Treat Stop with candy, donuts, and apple cider and games for the trick or treaters and their parents. We will also have our engine bays open for an open house.

WINSTED —  Sunday, Oct. 31 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Trick or Treat open house at Elm Street Firehouse, 27 Elm Street. Stop by the Elm street Firehouse for some trick or treating and open house. Come visit your volunteer firefighters, check out the fire trucks and even get some candy. For more information go to

NEW HARTFORD —  Sunday, Oct. 31 Bakerville Library, 6 Maple Hollow Rd. 5 to 6:30 p.m. Boo Fest including hay rides and trunk or treat. For more information go to

NEW HARTFORD — Sunday, Oct. 31 – 5 p.m. Trick or Treat in Downtown Boo Hartford. Start at Town Hall, continue along Main Street and turn north on Route 219 until you reach the Volunteer Fire Department’s Halloween Party. Parents must be responsible for children.
